ONTARIO — Pendleton opened Greater Oregon League play with a 25-11, 25-6, 25-19 win over Ontario on Thursday, Sept. 25.

“Our girls played well tonight as a team,” Pendleton coach Jodi Primus said. “We have two players out right now that we are giving some healing time, but everyone played their roles well tonight. We served and passed well, giving our offense some good opportunities to execute well. We are excited that league play has begun and that we got our first league win.”

The Bucks (10-3 overall, 1-0 GOL) will host La Grande Oct. 2 in a GOL match.

PENDLETON 3, NYSSA 0 — The Bucks handed the Bulldogs their eighth consecutive loss with a 25-15, 25-15, 25-8 nonleague victory at Ontario High School.
