HALFWAY — Pine Eagle had to dig deep for a 29-27, 25-20, 25-19 nonleague win over Nixyaawii on Friday, Sept. 26.
“The girls played a close game with Pine Eagle,” Nixyaawii coach Nina Watchman said. “They were neck-and-neck in the first set, and close calls for two and three. We definitely learned a lot with the game and will continue to play hard and work together.”
Devon Hall led the Golden Eagles (1-3) with six aces, while Liana Stewart had two kills and Annalise Watchman two tips.
