IMBLER — Jeytt Cant had nine kills, and Whitney Haddock handed out 13 assists as Imbler improved to 2-0 in Old Oregon League play with a 24-14, 25-3, 25-13 victory over Pilot Rock on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
“Imbler is a solid team,” Pilot Rock coach Jen Porter said. “We played hard tonight in a really fast-paced match. I was proud of the team for working hard until the end. They never gave up.”
Cora Royes added five kills for the Panthers (11-5 overall), while Isla Howard had four kills, Maggie Pahlow three kills, Kali Camp two kills, three blocks and four aces, and Olivia Haddock eight assists and four aces.
“Great team effort tonight,” Imbler coach Jennifer Teeter said. “We had a strong receive performance from Alondra Camacho with 12 receptions.”
Pilot Rock (3-4, 1-1) got five kills and one block from Gracee Hemphill, while Kessa Litfin had nine digs and five assists, Coley Gibbs six digs and one ace, and Aubrey Corwin four assists and one ace.
Pilot Rock will host Echo on Thursday.
