COVE — Nixyaawii gave Cove all it could handle before falling 25-16, 25-16, 25-18 on Saturday, Oct. 18, in Old Oregon League play.
Nixyaawii (2-10 overall, 1-8 OOL) got two aces from Annalise Watchman, while Neveah Moore had two aces and one tip, and Cryssa Kirkie one ace and one tip kill.
Nixyaawii also dropped a 25-10, 25-9, 25-12 match to Imbler.
“Imbler was on point today, but we got some good digs in,” Nixyaawii coach Nina Watchman said.
Kirkie led the Golden Eagles with two kills and three tips, while Liana Stewart had three blocks and two kills.
