Pendleton makes quick work of Ontario

PENDLETON — Pendleton needed less than an hour to secure a 25-9, 25-10, 25-11 Greater Oregon League win over Ontario on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Warberg Court.

“We ran some different lineups tonight in order to get everyone some playing time,” Pendleton coach Jodi Primus said. “The girls did well adjusting to the changes and just went out and played their game.”

Caitlin Cooley kept the offense running smoothly with 21 assists. She also had 14 points and two aces. Avery Brown led the Bucks with 10 kills, while MJ Gomez had seven and Kelsi Primus six. Finley Evans had a serve receive average of 2.85/3 with nine digs, while McKinley Lieuallen had six digs, 12 points, one ace and no missed serves.

The Bucks will play Saturday at the Corbett Tournament.
