TigerScots drop BMC match to Grant Union

JOHN DAY — Weston-McEwen joined the log jam for second place in the Blue Mountain Conference with a 26-24, 29-27, 25-18 loss to Grant Union on Thursday, Oct. 2.

The TigerScots, Grant Union, Irrigon and Stanfield are all 2-2 in the BMC standings.

“Tough loss for us tonight,” W-M coach Marie Cain said. “There were just too many unforced errors in our control to come out with the win. We will come back focused and ready for Saturday.”

Charlotte Hansell led the TigerScots (6-8 overall) with 11 kills and 13 digs, while Addy Hall had six kills and 12 digs, Bree Perkins 13 digs and Mya Bryan 14 assists.
