ATHENA — Weston-McEwen evened its season record at 9-9 on Wednesday, Oct. 8, with a 25-15, 25-13, 25-18 nonleague win over Cove.

Junior Charlette Hansell led the TigerScots with seven kills, while Addy Hall had seven kills and nine digs, Bre Ward five kills, four blocks and two aces, Bree Perkins nine digs, Mya Bryan 14 assists and six aces, and Reagan Pickard had eight assists and three aces.
The eighth-ranked TigerScots return to Blue Mountain Conference play Thursday at fifth-ranked Heppner.
“Having a couple of nonleague games has helped us dial in some areas we have worked on,” Cain said. “We are excited to return to league play tomorrow.”
