ECHO — Echo improved to 3-0 in the Old Oregon League standings, and ran its win streak to nine games with a 66-38 win over Nixyaawii.
Kenzie Hendrix scored seven of her 12 points in the first quarter as Echo (13-2 overall) jumped out to an 18-11 lead. The Cougars’ lead grew to 30-19 at the half, thanks to four points each from Jaycee Campbell and Cam Estes.
Campbell and Lilah Miller each had six points in the third as the Cougars put the game out of reach with a 26-13 run.
Gracie Wilson led the Golden Eagles (5-10, 0-2) with nine points, while Cryssa Kirkie and Annalise Watchman each had eight.
Campbell led Echo with 20 points, while Estes added 11, and Miller and Jude Royer each had eight.
