TigerScots open conference play with win over Enterprise

ENTERPRISE — Third-ranked Weston-McEwen opened Blue Mountain Conference play with a 47-14 win over Enterprise.

The game was close in the first half as Weston-McEwen led 9-5 after the first quarter and 18-12 at the half.

The TigerScots, who have won five games in a row, broke the game open in the third, going on a 21-0 scoring spree, keyed by six points from Charlotte Hansell, for a 39-12 lead.

Weston-McEwen (13-1) outscored Enterprise 8-2 in the fourth to leave no doubt.

Hansell led the TigerScots with 14 points, while Addy Hall added 11 and Reagan Pickard nine.

Owyhee Harguess led the Outlaws (4-10) with seven points, while Mylie James chipped in three.
