UMATILLA — Paige Hansen went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored to help Pilot Rock to a 14-1 win Wednesday over Umatilla.

After a scoreless first inning, Pilot Rock scored two in the second, three in the third, and closed things out with six runs in the top of the sixth inning.

The Rockets (3-0) belted out 12 hits, but also took advantage of 12 walks.

Hailey Thieme went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple, while Hailey Severe and Autumn Severe each had two hits, and Kashley Golden two RBIs.

Coley Gibbs pitched a complete game for Pilot Rock, allowing one run on one hit and striking out eight. She did not issue any walks.

Khloe Hinrichsen went 2-for-3 for the Vikings, while Aryanna McAdams had two stolen bases.
