REDMOND — The Pendleton boys soccer team is still in search of its first win after dropping an 8-0 nonleague game to Redmond on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
“We had a couple of opportunities to score but didn’t convert,” Pendleton coach Evan Brandhagen said. “Our defense had a long game, but plenty of good takeaways going forward.”
Freshman goalkeeper Jared Pace finished with nine saves for the Bucks (0-5).
Pendleton will host Bend on Sept. 17.
Girls soccer
REDMOND 6, PENDLETON/WESTON-MCEWEN 0 — The Panthers shut down the Bucks’ offense on their way to a nonleague home win.
Junior keeper Citlali Garcia finished with eight saves for Pendleton (2-3), which will play at Bend on Sept. 17.
