TigerScot Weekend Volleyball

WESTON-MCEWEN 3, COVE 1 — Charlotte Hansell had 11 kills and five digs in leading the TigerScots to a 25-18, 25-13, 11-25, 25-23 nonleague road win over the Leopards at Union High School.

“We had a good game at the net, being aggressive while still picking up balls on defense,” W-M coach Marie Cain said. 

Delaynee Angell had nine kills, 17 digs and three aces for the TigerScots (15-8 overall), while Bri Ward had five kills and three blocks, Addy Hall five kills and 10 digs, Hailey Monroe five aces, Kylie Kramer 19 digs, and Kayli Choin four kills.


“We played very good defense today with four players with double digits digs,” W-M coach Marie Cain said. “Not quite the outcome we wanted, but proud of the consistency and aggressive play.”

Delaynee Angell had seven kills, 17 digs and four blocks for the TigerScots, with Charlotte Hansell adding eight kills, 12 digs and two blocks. Kylie Kramer had 25 digs, while Addy Hall had six kills and six digs, Bri Ward had four kills and three blocks, and Mya Bryan 11 digs and two aces.

Weston-McEwen will play Oct. 17 at Enterprise.
