PILOT ROCK — Echo improved to 2-0 in Old Oregon League play with a 25-16, 25-22, 25-18 win over Pilot Rock on Thursday, Sept. 18.
“We came out strong tonight, then our offense struggled a little and we were hesitating on defense,” PR coach Jen Porter said. “I have faith we will put it all together in our upcoming matches. We have great potential, we just need to work out the kinks.”
Gracie Putnam led Echo (6-8 overall) with seven kills, while Kenzie Hendrix had six kills, Lilah Miller 19 assists, Jacee James 15 digs, and Brooklynn Wade five aces.
Kessa Litfin led the Rockets with five kills, 17 digs, seven assists and two blocks, while Jada Deist had four kills, Coley Gibbs 24 digs, Aubrey Corwin 10 assists, and Kashley Golden two aces.
“Jada and Kessa had a good match tonight despite the loss,” Porter said.
