FAIRVIEW — Pendleton’s Jack Reynolds ran a personal best 16:29.20 and finished 13th in the Division 2 varsity race on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Nike Portland XC at Blue Lake Regional Park.
The Bucks fielded a complete team and placed 20th in the team standings with 446 points. West Salem won the team title with 95 points, with McFarland second with 109, and Steilacoom a distant third with 173.
Also earning points for the Bucks were Autry Robinson (104th, 18:21.90), Khoda Brown (114th, 18:30), Farley Hill (118th, 18:37.20) and Damien Vega (120th, PR 18:41.10).
The Pendleton girls ran in the JV Division 2/3 race, placing 10th in the team standings with 302 points. Woodinville won the team title with 25 points, while McFarland was second (71) and Shorewood third (102).
Evelyn Hayes led Pendleton, running a PR of 22:20.40 for 14th place. She was followed by Kimberly Tinoco (69th, PR 24:32.20), Evie Christiansen (104th, 25:19.80), Marion Oliver (108th, PR 25:23.20) and Ella Holtz (137th, 26:08.10).
