PENDLETON — Avery Brown dominated at the net with 13 kills, four solo blocks and four block assists to lead Pendleton to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-12 Greater Oregon League win over La Grande on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Warberg Court.
“We came in with great focus and determination tonight,” Pendleton coach Jodi Primus said. “Every single player contributed great energy and worked hard. It was really fun to watch them play so well together and to be so focused.”
Caitlin Cooley added 18 assists for the Bucks (11-3 overall, 2-0 GOL), while Finley Evans had 17 digs, McKinley Lieuallen seven digs, and MJ Gomez seven kills and five aces.
Kelsi Primus hit at 47% with eight kills, and Sophie Nelson had 19 serves with two aces, and four block assists.
For the Tigers (7-9, 0-2), Maddie Seavert had seven digs, Payton Kincade three kills, and Maddie Armstrong served at 100% with three digs and two kills.
