MILTON-FREEWATER — Pendleton scored a goal in each half to pick up a 2-0 nonleague victory over McLoughlin on Thursday, Oct. 16.

“It was a good game for us,” Pendleton coach Kiana Rickman said. “We were able to connect really well.”

Senior Noemi Alvarez-Barroso scored in the first half for Pendleton (4-7-1), while sophomore Presley Greenwalt scored in the second half.

Bucks goalkeeper Citlalli Garcia had zero saves.

“We’ve been through so much as a team and I am so proud of us,” Alvarez-Barroso said. “All of us have individually put in the work and it shows. I trust every one of us on and off the field. I’m so grateful to be able to say I have been a part of Buckaroo soccer with all of those strong ladies.”
