Cay-Uma-Wa Toastmasters hosting meeting

The public is invited to the monthly themed meeting of the Cay-Uma-Wa Toastmasters club. The theme is “Love is in the Air”. The date for the themed
meeting is February 16. Meeting begins at 12 pm and will end at 1 pm. Arrive 15 minutes early to interact with members. Text Leigh Pinkham-Johnston, 541-215- 2724 regarding meeting information. Currently meetings are being held via Zoom. Members of the club have been busy attaining awards the last few months.
Four members of the club have completed Level 1 awards. Jan Taylor has completed her Level 1 in Pathways for “Engaging Humor”. This Path is designed to build skills as a humorous and engaging speaker. Leona Enright and Michelle Bratlie have completed their Level 1 in Pathways for “Presentation Mastery”. The focus on this path is learning how an audience responds to you and improving your connection with audience members. Kimberly Miller has completed her Level 1 in Pathways for “Innovative Planning”. This path focuses on developing a strong connection with audience members when you present, speech writing and speech delivery. Leigh Pinkham-Johnston has completed her Level 2 in Pathways for “Strategic Relationships”. The projects on this path focus on understanding diversity, building personal and/or professional connections with a variety of people and developing a public relations strategy. Karen Malcolm has also completed the Pathways Mentor Program. The mentoring program is designed to equip members to mentor within the club and outside of Toastmasters.
