PILOT ROCK — Pilot Rock improved to 4-5 in Old Oregon League play with a 25-12, 25-18, 25-11 win over Griswold on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
“Everyone played really well,” PR coach Jen Porter said. “They played well as a team and we were able to run our offense.”
It was the Rockets’ annual Pink Night, with money raised going to help community member Ronan Doherty, who is fighting leukemia.
Griswold fell to 1-6 in league play and 3-16 overall.
“Our girls struggled tonight with our passing and we couldn’t get set for an attack as often as I would have liked,” Griswold coach Kaitlyn Ferguson said. “They had some really great touches though and there were some great long rallies that were fun to watch.”
