NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Protection Planning Commission (LPPC) of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation will hold the following public hearing:
Comprehensive Plan Amendment #CP-21-001 – Applicant, CTUIR – Tribal Planning Office, 46411 Timíne Way, Pendleton, OR 97801. The application proposes to amend text of the CTUIR 2010 Comprehensive Plan to update 2020 benchmarks identified in Chapter 5, Plan Elements and Chapter 6, Tribal Government. Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan are legislative in nature, requiring a recommendation from the Land Protection Planning Commission to the CTUIR Board of Trustees, which are the final decision makers. Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan may be adopted if found to satisfy the decision criteria listed in Chapter 7 of the CTUIR Comprehensive Plan.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19 precautions, this hearing will be held via Microsoft Teams.
